So hard to get a good bike basket these days.

First off Biria or Bike and Go stop reviewing your own damned products. It's really obvious. Ok :o)?

I bought a basket for my big blue bomber. I needed something to transport the usual not over 10 pounds type stuff; things from Goodwill, some groceries, my lunch and maybe the odd growler. And I don't want to wear my damned messenger bag all the time.

I checked the Electra site, nothing there at the time. So I had a look around Amazon and found something. Hooray right? Ordered it, received it and there were no mounting brackets. Waited another week, got the rest of the hardware and fitted it.

Oh god, I wish I would have bought it in town. The damn thing pops off at the slightest bump. And when I say pops off, it flies across the road taking my sandwich with it. I'm glad I didn't test with the booze. The culprit is a dreadful design, illustrated below with MSPaint. The result? The bracket barely holds the basket on and certainly doesn't do it securely. Currently deciding what to do. Not sure if I can get my $40 back since the basket is now dented and I covered it in reflective star stickers.

All in all, not recommended.
